Miniature Porcelain Horse Emporium LP

Posted: March 21, 2010

Mixed randomly from the hundreds of demo/practice tapes lying about Adam Stafford’s office (he has a commemorative Charles & Diana wedding poster above his desk) via cassette-to-cassette, like a five-year old taping off the radio, Miniature Porclain Horse Emporium is the disorientating, head-shagging follow-up to last years a Cappella game-changer Awnings.

Switching one moment from super-slow heroin drone, to a Cappella gabber, to warped spoken word and poignant guadam vegitar interludes, many will find MPHE the audio equivalent of Danny Devito’s semen – luminescent green, bitter and with a hint of spice.

A “properly” recorded single, Shot-down You Summer Wannabes is available via our releases page, but for now, immerse yourself in what can only be described “alfmh;npafm“.

Limited edition CD-R versions of the album, with hand-drawn art can be found in Avalanche records in Glasgow.
